■ステイトメント■
私の作品には、どこか懐かしく、けれど現実には存在しないような風景が広がっています。
現実の中で失われそうになる希望や優しさを、画面上の色彩で呼び起こしたいと願っています。
それは、私にとっての帰る場所であり、同時に見る人それぞれの記憶の楽園であってほしいのです。

ゆめまぼろしと星と木
夢と現実のあいだにある、曖昧な世界がある。
内なる世界への眼差しを向けることは、ものづくりをしていく上で必然であり、尽きることのない源泉である。
夢や幻を愛するということは、ある種の願いや信仰となり、やがてこの現実世界の賛歌や祝福へと姿を変える。
それらは星の導きや根を張る木のように、内なる世界を育み、やがて確かな実を結び、私たちに次なる光景を指し示してくれる。
Dreams,stars and trees
There exists an ambiguous world, suspended between dream and reality.
Turning one's gaze inward, towards this inner realm,
is an inevitability in the creative process and an inexhaustible wellspring.
To embrace dreams and illusions is to nurture a kind of wish or faith,
which in turn transforms into an ode and a blessing for this very real world.
Like the guidance of stars or trees that firmly root themselves,
they cultivate our inner worlds, eventually bearing tangible fruit and pointing us towards the next scene.
