晴れた日のあさ、少女はおでかけします
ちいさなポシェットをさげ、ひとり駅までむかいます
さくら咲く静かな無人駅でまっていると、遠くから１両のちいさなでんしゃがやってきしまた・・・
少女はどこからきて、どこへむかうのでしょうか？
目まぐるしく変化していく時代の中、ずっと変わらない記憶が、そこにはあります。
本展示は、この春に自ら訪れた地方のちいさなローカル線での旅を題材に、今日失われつつある、
しかしいつでも人々の心の故郷であり続ける原風景を旅する、ちいさな少女の物語を描いています。
自らの「原点」を探ることをテーマに、この数年里山の風景や子供時代の記憶を描き続けてきましたが、
本展ではそれを一連のストーリーとして完成させることを目指しました。
もしかしたら十年先にはもう無くなっているかもしれない、そんな原風景にたたずむちいさな駅とちいさなでんしゃ、
そしてちいさな少女の、ちいさなたびの物語です。
On a sunny morning, a little girl makes her way out.
Carrying a little handbag, she heads for the station alone.
As she waits at the quiet, unmanned station where the cherry
blossoms bloom, a little train comes from afar...
Where did she come from, and where is she going?
In the midst of this rapidly changing time, there are people's memories that remain unchanged.
This exhibition is based on a short trip Ayaïro made herself this spring on a small local train in a rural area.
The series depicts the story of a little girl traveling through the
landscape that is rapidly diminishing today, but will always be home to people's hearts.
With the core theme of exploring her own "origin," Ayaïro has been painting Japanese Satoyama
landscapes and childhood memories for the past several years; and in this exhibition,
she aims to express the theme as a set of narratives for the first time.
This is a story of a little station, a little train, and a little girl's little journey
in a rural Japanese landscape, which may possibly be gone in 10 years from today.
■プロフィール■
あやいろ Ayairo
1991年生まれ。
幼い頃より絵を描くことが好きで、現在のスタイルは独学で習得。
語学を専攻していた大学時代に海外の文化に多く触れていく中で、自分が生まれ育った土地、
原点は自分自身と切り離すことはできないと考えるようになり、
自らの故郷である日本の里山の土地にもう一度向き合い、作品作りを開始。
今日実存する風景と自らの幼少期の記憶を織り交ぜた描写を通し、誰しもが持っているであろう子供の頃の思い出と、
原風景や子供時代そのものが放つ独特の郷愁感を表現。
近年では地方や昭和の風景、また子供そのものに焦点を当てたシリーズなども制作し、「原点」の追求の幅を広げている。
古き良き純粋なものを守り続けたいという思いから、懐かしさと新しさの融合した、ポップでノスタルジックな世界を展開し続ける。
